By accessing the room with your personal access code you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth here and on our website.
Minimum age for check-in or reservations is 18 years of age with a valid credit card. If booking or checking in with a credit card in a name other than that listed on the reservation, authorization will be required by the card holder prior to accepting the reservation. The credit card holder will be referred to as the "guest" and held liable for payment, cancellations, damages, deposits and fees when referring to all reservations.
No guests are permitted other than the maximum allowed number of guests per room at the time of booking. We reserve the right to ask extra guests to leave or book an additional room if the occupancy exceeds the allowable limit. No refunds will be issued if you book and then need to cancel as a result of exceeding the room limit. Please note that most suites are 2 person occupancy.

Late checkouts may be subject to additional fees.
- Credit cards will be billed up to 72hrs in advance using the credit card provided upon reservation. Some exceptions apply, refer to package details if applicable at the time of reservation. Receipts will be emailed.
- Room numbers and door access codes will issued upon payment and will be texted on or before the check in date.

Policies
Pets
All reference to "Pets" includes dogs only.
The Pinewood Inn has a limited number of "Pet Friendly" rooms and suites. When available "Pet Friendly" rooms will be noted when selecting a room at the time of booking. Please enquire if you are unsure as these rooms must be reserved at the time of booking. Pets will not be accepted in the motel unless reserved at the time of booking. Should a guest need to cancel as they have reserved a room that is not pet friendly our cancellation policy will apply.
Pets are welcome for a non-refundable charge of $35 per pet per night, up to a maximum of $100/stay per pet. Up to 2 dogs with a maximum weight of 45 lbs each are permitted in designated pet-friendly rooms. Please ensure a pet-friendly room is reserved prior to arrival, as the motel reserves the right to decline pet stays for rooms that are not pre-arranged and any pets found in non-pet-friendly rooms will result in a 500.00 allergenic cleaning fee. Pet friendly rooms are limited and can only be reserved direct with the motel not through third-party booking sites.
Guests are responsible for any damages incurred by their pets. If pets are left unattended in the room a contact number is required as the motel reserves the right to call guests back to the rooms if their pet is disturbing other guests.
No Smoking and/or Vaping
All references to smoking includes smoking or vaping of any substance.
All rooms, suites and areas in close proximity to guest rooms such as decks, parking areas in close proximity to guest suites, and guest common areas are non-smoking. Smoking areas are designated.
Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
There is a 500.00 cleaning fee for those who choose to ignore the Non-Smoking rules and choose to smoke in rooms, suites or indoor common areas.

Methods of Payment
- Credit card is the only method of payment, unless pre-arranged with the motel.
- Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, JBC, and Discover.
- All reservations require a valid credit card on file.
- Rooms will not be held without a valid credit card on file.
- Credit cards will be billed up to 72hrs in advance using the credit card provided upon reservation. Some exceptions apply, refer to package details if applicable at the time of reservation. Receipts will be emailed.

Cancellation
Cancellations for stays less than 7 nights
Cancellations must be made 72hrs in advance. If cancellations are made with less than 72hrs notice you will be charged for all applicable night’s accommodation, unless otherwise noted in your rate plan. Some exceptions to the 72 hour cancellation policy apply and will be noted in the rate plan at the time of booking.
Responsibility: The Pinewood Inn accepts no responsibility for weather conditions at time of travel or responsibility for losses or other expenses due to delay or changes in air schedules or other services including, but not limited to weather, sickness, strikes, terrorism, war, quarantine, lockouts, government action. All such losses will be the responsibility of the guest.
Cancellations for stays 7+ nights
All weekly reservations are non-refundable. Payment will be processed at the time of booking. Please refer to the cancellation policy listed below.
For reservations made more than 45 days prior to arrival, a deposit of 30% is required at time of booking. Balance owing is due 45 days prior to arrival. For reservations made 45 days or less prior to travel date, full payment is due at time of booking. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Your use of a credit card number to apply deposit and/or final payment indicates your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Verbal authorization for the use of a credit card confirms the reservation.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify an agent at The Pinewood Inn immediately. CANCELLATION CHARGES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 30 days or more prior to arrival: $15 + GST per adult on file. Within 30 days of arrival: Full amount paid is non refundable and non transferable. The Pinewood Inn is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property while using any of these products and services.

Rates
Rates quoted Net in Canadian funds and subject to 5% GST, 8% PST, and 3% Tourism Levy.
